Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment itself is in a stunning location; views from the garden of Mont Blanc and it's walkable into town (30 minute walk to Chamonix), with a lovely garden that's great to spend time in the summer. The living space is very large and comfortably fits the whole group, the kitchen is very well stocked and made it easy to spend a long time there. There's washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc. so was able to have a comfortable stay. I will say that the company that host the apartment, were very quick at responding and fixing issues which was really useful. I would definitely recommend, but there are a few things that need fixing and I think it's overpriced.

Negative: To be clear, I've raised all of these with the company that manages the apartment, and they were very responsive when I contacted them with initial issues so I wouldn't be surprised if they get these issues sorted too. Due to the price of the apartment I feel that I can be quite picky and transparent with what needs improving. Bedrooms: 2nd bedroom is not comfortable at all. The bunk bed is an absolute nightmare, it squeaks if you even think about moving or breathing, there's not enough storage for clothes, and the shower itself leaks and there's nowhere to hang any towels. There's only one toilet - this is me being picky but you've got 2 bathrooms but only one toilet is very frustrating. Quite bad mould in both shower areas which I've flagged with the company. Frustrating to have to go into town to pick up and drop off the keys.
