This unusual two-storey chalet for eight is in a great location, between the ski slopes of Combloux (6km) and the town of Sallanches (2km).
Surrounded by trees, children will love spotting wildlife in the garden. They'll also love the play area and, if you're visiting in the summer, the swimming pool! There's a retractable cover, which can be pulled back on sunny days, but makes the pool safe and secure when it is closed. There's also a sauna, which is the perfect place to relax after a busy day.
The chalet has three bedrooms, all of which have double beds. The family room, which is in the ground floor, also has another smaller double on a mezzanine floor accessed by a ladder - great fun for kids! All of the bedrooms have their own bath or shower room.
Space isn't in short supply in this chalet - the living area has a cosy seating area, and with sofas and chairs around the fireplace. The dining table is in prime position overlooking the pool, the garden and the views. Watch for visiting deer while you eat, or enjoy a drink on the terrace.
You'll need a car when you stay at Chalet 1585, and in winter, you'll need snow tyres or chains - the access road is fairly narrow.
