Positive: We deliberately chose this location as it is next to a car park that is tall enough to take SUVs - not easy to find in the old part of Lyon so we took a chance on using local transport. This is a conference hotel, but it worked really well. Despite there being a large conference at the time the check in was smooth, the staff more than helpful and there were always plenty of them. Everyone down to the staff who cleared the plates in the restaurant seemed keen we had a good experience. The hotel was clean, quiet, well maintained and just 50m from the bus stop where we could take advantage of Lyon’s amazing integrated transport system. Another 5 metres and you’re into a lovely big park

Negative: The breakfast room was crowded at peak times

Summary: For a city break mid driving holiday this proved to be the ideal choice
