'Le Cuvage' Garden Barn Apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It has a simple ambience, and stylish character. This is reflected in its farmhouse-industrial interior design.
Perfect for 2 persons(proper double bed in large bedroom), but also has additional sleeping arrangements for a further adult (double high-quality sofa-bed) in the lounge area, and children(single put-up bed, and large bed cot on request)
'Le Cuvage', an ancient wine 'pressoir', is a stunning villa-style property' , beautifully renovated with exceptional interior and exterior design by the owners. This ancient wine-making building is set in the original grounds of the Chateau des Cresses (recently renamed Chateau Trève Raisin)
The whole property lies within an attractive wooded enclave in the countryside, and has delightful gardens with fabulous views over the fields and hills of the Roannais towards the Beaujolais.
There is a superb swimming pool (10mx4m) in landscaped garden grounds. (this is only shared by owners of Le Cuvage.) There are two other individual properties that make up the original
'Pressoir'. The 'barn' apartment is the only rented property on site. There are no other holiday rental guests.
This special Garden 'Barn' Apartment, part of 'Le Cuvage', has its own private garden for guests, and private decked terrace, with table, ample seating, loungers, parasols.
it is a perfect base for one or two weeks holiday to explore an exceptional part of France, including the famous Beaujolais, Auvergne, and Burgundy regions. France's incredible second city, Lyon, is only an hour's drive away, Vichy 45 minutes, Saint Etienne, 45 minutes.

There is so much to see and do here in the Roannais, part of the Rhône-Alpes-Auvergne region.
It is a particularly renowned gastronomic area of France, and includes an array of brilliant restaurants, cafes, and family bistros.
Maison Troisgros (one of the world's famous, top 3- Michelin-starred restaurants) is only a 20 minute drive away. Troisgros' two other amazing restaurants, 'Le Central' and 'Colline du Colombier' are between 15 minutes and 25 minutes drive away.
'Le Cuvage' is a 45 minute drive away from the local family ski resort at Loges des Gardes, and about an hour from the larger resort of Chalmazel. We are also only 2-3 hours drive away from Geneva, Annecy, and Grenoble in the French Alpes.

'Le Cuvage' is also ideal for business people (either individual or up to a group of 3) visiting the region, and want a very comfortable, convenient, cost-effective temporary base. It is within easy reach of all the major commercial areas of Roanne and the Roannais region, and is close tor Lyon and Saint Etienne (all with exceedingly good rail and road links)
With free wifi and access to digital printing facilities, along with the desk space for work, this is a 'gem' of a place.

The owners, Brian and Lucy, are available most of the time to help with any assistance, explanations, or problems. They can recommend places to visit, and provide guidance on local and regional transport, etc.
'Le Cuvage' is an exceptional location for both individual or family holidaymakers for weekends, and short or long vacations at exceptional 'value-for-money.'
As a self-catering apartment, you'll find everything you need for a perfectly easy and relaxing stay.
Our contemporary kitchen has hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, electric kettle, and coffee-machine.

There is a large bedroom which contains a double bed, bed-side tables/units, drawer cabinets, clothes store unit, separate clothes rail.
A high quality double sofa-bed is available for additional separate use, and a double futon bed is also available for use in the main bedroom..
A good-sized, high quality, wooden nursery cot is available for a baby or young infant (on request)
There is a good-sized bathroom with sink, walk-in shower, toilet, and cupboard storage.
The apartment also has a washing machine and exterior drying area.
Bedlinen and towels are included to make your stay easy and enjoyable.

L'appartement de jardin "Le Cuvage" est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et se relaxer. Il offre une ambiance simple et un caractère élégant. Cela se reflète dans sa décoration intérieure de style ferme-industriel.
Parfait pour 2 personnes (lit double dans la grande chambre), il peut également accueillir jusqu'à 1 autre adulte (canapé-lit double) dans le salon, et des enfants (lit simple et grand lit bébé sur demande).
Le Cuvage, un ancien pressoir à vin, est une superbe propriété de style villa, magnifiquement rénovée avec un design intérieur et extérieur exceptionnel par les propriétaires. Cet ancien pressoir est situé dans le parc du Château des Cresses (récemment renommé Château Trève Raisin).
L'ensemble de la propriété se trouve dans une jolie enclave boisée à la campagne, et possède de charmants jardins avec des vues fabuleuses sur les champs et les collines du Roannais vers le Beaujolais.
Il y a une superbe piscine (10mx4m) dans le jardin paysager. (elle n'est partagée que par les propriétaires du Cuvage.) Il y a deux autres propriétés individuelles qui constituent le "Pressoir" original.
Pressoir ". L'appartement de la grange est la seule propriété louée sur le site. Il n'y a pas d'autres locataires de vacances.
Cet appartement de jardin spécial, qui fait partie du "Cuvage", a son propre jardin privé pour les invités, et une terrasse privée, avec une table, de nombreux sièges, des chaises longues, des parasols.
C'est une base parfaite pour une ou deux semaines de vacances pour explorer une partie exceptionnelle de la France, y compris les célèbres régions du Beaujolais, de l'Auvergne et de la Bourgogne. L'incroyable deuxième ville de France, Lyon, n'est qu'à une heure de route, Vichy à 45 minutes, Saint Etienne à 45 minutes.
