2 hours from Lyon, nestled in the heart of the Roubion Valley, between the Drôme Valley, the Montélimar Plain and the Drôme Provençale, the Francillon shed is located in a quiet area in the charming little semi-circular village of Francillon-sur-Roubion, organized around its church. The location allows you to discover both the Drôme Valley (the 3 Becs, the Saoû Forest, the must-see Crest and Die, the hilltop villages, the Drôme and Gervanne Rivers, the Clairette Road, canoe trips) and the Drôme Provençale (Grignan and Nyons are less than 1 hour away, the Valdaine Plain, Dieulefit and its potters and ceramists, the Trente Pas de St-Ferréol parade). 5 minutes away, the village of Saoû, its forest, the most beautiful perched syncline in Europe, its cliff, its Picodon festival (3rd weekend in July) and its markets. 10 min from Bourdeaux, small medieval village, municipal swimming pool. Crest and Dieulefit 25 min away. Valence and Die 50 min away.
As its name suggests, this old farm shed has been redesigned, restored and decorated by Aurore and Thierry, who are giving it a new lease of life. A few months of work were enough to offer you sweet awakenings in this village house (around 196 souls). The Francillon shed is arranged on 3 levels: on the ground floor: living room composed of the kitchen/living room/lounge (sofa bed available as an extra on request and at an additional cost), adjoining access to the private terrace. Above the living room: the attic mezzanine intended for sleeping with 2 90x200 beds. On the lower level: the 160x200 bedroom (also accessible on the ground floor on the street side), shower room, separate toilet. The village is a car-free village, the communal car park is 100m away. You can easily access the foot of the cottage to load/unload your car. We live in the village 1km away. Our extra? Your beds will be made for your arrival.
