Summary: A wonderful little cabin with an extraordinary view on Mont Blanc. We spend a couple of days in Januray there and were stunned by the beautiful surroundings. We were lucky enough to observe Bearded Vulture, Golden Eagle and Ibex from the house's little terrace, but make sure you hike up to Refuge de Varan to get some closer looks. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and the heating is good, so you'll stay warm even in January.
