Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The place is one of your better options in town. It's pretty central near the water and an easy walk to the square. Rooms on the top floor are better with AC. Ask to be upgraded as they don't do this automatically and it's worth it to go to the second floor. Breakfast is great and plentiful. The staff is nice and helpful.

Negative: If you can skip puerto berrio overall that might be better. There is not much to do and the area to hang out by the river is only okay. My biggest complaint with this hotel is they say they include parking, but it's with a random parking place a few blocks away that's not really reliable. The guy at the parking made me give him my key because he was already full and had to move the car around when I wasn't there. Parking is supposed to be free but he also asked for a tip and the whole parking thing made me really uncomfortable although it turned out okay in the end. Lastly they should tell you that there are options for AC rooms. We had to go upstairs and then request to be moved
